The significantly improved Pakistan team posted a competitive total of 137/6 in their allotted 20 overs. They displayed effective bowling to restrict the hosts and secure a series-clinching win.
This marked the first time in history that Pakistan has won a T20I series against the White Ferns. Additionally, it was their initial T20I series triumph away from home since they defeated Bangladesh in October 2018.

The victory was well-deserved, with notable contributions from Muneeba Ali (35), Aliya Riaz (32*), and former captain Bismah Maroof (21). The visitors put up a commendable total after being put into bat by the Kiwis.
Left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal played a crucial role by dismissing Bernadine Bezuidenhout (2) and Amelia Kerr (2), reducing New Zealand to 9/2 in response. From there, Pakistan comfortably cruised to victory.
Fatima Sana (3/22) stood out as the standout bowler for Pakistan, while Hannah Rowe was the top-scorer for the home side with a well-compiled 33.
The third and final match of the series is scheduled to take place in Queenstown on Saturday.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
