Although Pakistan showed great resilience throughout the competition, their journey ended in the semifinals against a formidable South Korean team, who delivered exceptional performances to secure a place in the final. Nevertheless, Pakistan bounced back to secure third place, adding another bronze medal to their collection at the prestigious Asian Junior Squash Championship.

In the final, South Korea made history by defeating Malaysia, with remarkable performances from Jooyoung Na and Yoo Jeong-uk, who battled through tough matches to bring their country its first Asian Junior Team Championship title.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s girls’ team triumphed over Malaysia to reclaim the title they last won in 2011. Kwong Ena and Cheung Tsz Ching led the charge with straight-set victories, clinching the gold on home soil.

While Pakistan fell short of making the final, their bronze medal finish solidifies their position as a strong contender in Asian junior squash. With a promising team and rising stars, they will aim to build on this result in upcoming championships.
