Germany and Austria Among Five Nations Appointing New Ambassadors to Pakistan

President Asif Ali Zardari highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation with Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany across trade, economic, and cultural sectors.

He made these remarks while receiving the High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka and the Ambassadors-designate of Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany, who presented their diplomatic credentials at Aiwan-e-Sadr today.

The envoys included Rear-Admiral H.L.A. Don Fred Senevirante (Sri Lanka), Chandra Warsenanto (Indonesia/Chairman of ASEAN Countries), Kylychbek Sultan (Kyrgyzstan), Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera (Austria), and Ina Ruth Luise Lepel (Germany). Upon arrival, they were welcomed with a guard of honour by the Armed Forces.

President Zardari congratulated the High Commissioner and Ambassadors on their new postings and expressed hope that their tenure would strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
