His early breakthroughs and crucial middle-order dismissals dismantled the Afghan batting lineup. Ahmed Hussain and Momin Qamar also contributed, picking up two wickets each. Afghanistan was bowled out for 105 in 30.2 overs, handing Pakistan U19 a dominant win. Umar Zaib was named player of the match for his match-winning performance.

Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan U19 had narrowly defeated Afghanistan by one wicket. Their game against Zimbabwe U19 was affected by rain and could not be completed after the first innings.

Pakistan U19 will now face Zimbabwe U19 in their final league match on January 4. Both teams are set to meet again in the tri-series final on January 6, promising an exciting conclusion to the competition.

Analysts praised Pakistan U19 for their balanced team performance. Strong batting at the top, combined with effective strike bowling, has strengthened the team’s chances of winning the tri-series.
