Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and Turkish Ambassador Dr. Irfan Nezerağlu met in Islamabad to discuss regional cooperation and strategic developments, reaffirming the strong bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Turkey.
The meeting highlighted the importance of the upcoming Kazan Forum, which both sides see as a critical platform for boosting trade and international engagement. Khan noted Pakistan’s interest in involving more countries in the forum’s initiatives to enhance regional connectivity and economic collaboration.

Expressing gratitude for the support of the Pakistani armed forces, Khan said that Pakistan’s recent achievements were the result of discipline, resilience, and divine guidance. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to a proactive international role grounded in peace and partnership.
Ambassador Nezerağlu lauded Pakistan’s defense strategy and the strength of its armed forces. Calling the Turkey-Pakistan friendship unmatched, he reiterated Turkey’s continued support for Pakistan’s regional and global efforts, especially during times of challenge.
