Pakistan Stops Indian-Backed Militants from Crossing Afghan Border

Security forces successfully foiled a major infiltration attempt by a large group of Indian-sponsored Khawarij linked to the proxy outfit Fitna al Khwarij during the nights of July 1/2 and 2/3, 2025. The group was attempting to cross into Pakistan through the Hassan Khel area in North Waziristan District from Afghanistan.

Vigilant monitoring and a swift response by Pakistani troops resulted in the neutralization of all thirty infiltrators. The engagement, described as precise and professionally executed, also led to the recovery of a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, averting a potentially devastating terrorist act.
