Saudi Arabia Donates 100 Tons of Dates to Pakistan as Symbol of Friendship
ISLAMABAD – On Thursday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented Pakistan with a generous donation of 100 tons of dates, symbolizing the enduring goodwill and solidarity between the two nations.
A formal handover ceremony took place at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, where Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), officially handed over the consignment to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing.

This donation is part of Saudi Arabia’s annual tradition of generosity, reaffirming the country’s commitment to supporting Pakistan, guided by the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub expressed his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their continuous support and emphasized that this gesture deepens the brotherly ties between the two nations, built on mutual respect and shared values.
The annual donation of dates serves as a powerful reminder of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts and its dedication to strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan.
