Pakistan Recalls Spinner Abrar Ahmed for Final Test Against Bangladesh

Pakistan has recalled leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed for the second and final Test against Bangladesh, following a disappointing performance in the first Test in Rawalpindi. In that match, Pakistan opted for an all-pace attack, which proved ineffective on a slow track, leading to their first-ever Test defeat against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh won the match convincingly by 10 wickets, with their spinners Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz playing crucial roles by taking seven wickets between them.

In response to this setback, Pakistan has not only brought back Abrar Ahmed, who has an impressive record of 38 wickets from six Tests, but has also included uncapped spin bowling all-rounder Kamran Ghulam in the squad. Additionally, all-rounder Aamer Jamal has been recalled, though his participation will depend on his fitness clearance, according to a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
