Pakistan Railways Plans To Run Two Special Trains During Eid ul Azha

Pakistan Railways has unveiled its intention to launch two special Eid trains from Karachi to accommodate travelers during the festive period. These special services are anticipated to ferry passengers from Karachi to Lahore and Peshawar.

The official announcement of these Eid special trains is contingent upon the sighting of the Zilhajj moon, allowing passengers to make travel arrangements accordingly. One of the special trains will embark on its journey from Karachi to Lahore, offering both economy class and AC coaches to cater to diverse travel preferences.

The second Eid special train will traverse from Karachi to Peshawar, with all coaches designated as economy class. This decision aims to provide passengers heading to various destinations across Pakistan with a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

Earlier in March, Pakistan Railways had outlined its initiative to aid passengers during Eidul Fitr by launching four special trains. According to the official notification, these special Eid trains were scheduled to ply various routes throughout the country.

The inaugural special Eid train was slated to commence its journey from Karachi to Peshawar on April 7.
