Pakistan Railways Announces 20% Eid Discount on Train Tickets
Pakistan Railways has announced a 20% discount on train tickets for passengers traveling during the three days of Eid.
Discount Applicable to All Train Categories
According to official sources, the discount will apply to Mail Express, Passenger, and Intercity trains. Passengers can avail themselves of the reduced fares on current bookings for Eid Day 1, 2, and 3.
This initiative aims to facilitate travelers and encourage railway travel during the festive season. Pakistan Railways has previously introduced similar discounts on special occasions to support passengers.

Three Eid Special Trains to Operate from Karachi
To accommodate the expected surge in travelers, Pakistan Railways has also announced the operation of three Eid special trains from Karachi.
Train Schedule:
- March 26, 1 PM – Karachi Cantt to Lahore
- March 27, 8:30 PM – Karachi City to Rawalpindi
- March 28, 9 PM – Karachi Cantt to Lahore
These special trains aim to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers heading home for Eid.
