[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]KARACHI- The Pakistan Navy intercepted a narcotics smuggling attempt worth over Rs4 billion in the Arabian Sea. According to reports, a Pakistan Navy ship apprehended smugglers and recovered 280kg of crystal meth during an operation at sea. The recovered medications are approximately worth Rs4 billion in the market, according to the spokeswoman.

The smugglers and the discovered drugs have been turned over to law enforcement for investigation. In a separate incident in 2020, the Pakistan Navy successfully intercepted a large contingent of narcotics being transported by water. A operation was conducted near the outskirts of Karachi, in the seaways adjacent to Mubarak Village, where a vessel carrying large amounts of hashish and heroin was apprehended. According to data, the bust recovered around 300 million rupees, which included 675 kilogrammes of hashish and 4 kilogrammes of heroin.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
