Pakistan To Celebrate August 14 As 'Marka-E-Haq' Victory Day

Pakistan will celebrate its 78th Independence Day on August 14 with a renewed national spirit. This year, the day will be officially observed as ‘Marka-E-Haq’, meaning the “War of Truth.”

According to officials, the title reflects the country’s commitment to truth, unity, and sovereignty. It also honors the sacrifices made by the people and the armed forces of Pakistan.

A special parade will be held in the federal capital, Islamabad. Similar ceremonies are planned across all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. These events aim to showcase the country’s strength and the resolve of its citizens.

Government buildings will be lit up and decorated with patriotic colors. Floats representing key moments of Pakistan’s history will be part of the celebrations. Educational institutions will also take part in the nationwide activities.

School and college programs will feature speeches, songs, and plays. These will focus on national unity and the meaning of ‘Marka-E-Haq’. Students will present new narratives highlighting Pakistan’s journey and values.

To further mark the occasion, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new patriotic song titled “Dil Se Pakistan.” The anthem pays tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and the resilience of the Pakistani nation.

ISPR stated that Dil Se Pakistan is a heartfelt message of pride and strength. The song reflects the nation’s ongoing struggle for justice and peace. It also emphasizes the role of the armed forces in defending Pakistan’s freedom.

Officials say this year’s theme, ‘Marka-E-Haq’, is not just a celebration of independence. It is also a tribute to the spirit of the people. It reflects national pride, sacrifice, and an unshakable commitment to the country’s future.
