The deadline for submitting the second installment of the Hajj fee under the government scheme has also been extended to January 2. Failure to pay will result in the cancellation of the Hajj application, with refunds issued after deductions.

Despite multiple extensions, the government scheme received 82,000 applications, falling 7,000 short of its quota. Pakistan’s total Hajj quota for 2025 is 179,210, evenly divided between government and private schemes. The estimated cost for the government scheme is between Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,175,000.
