Mike Hesson Says Pakistan Ready for Pressure Game Against India

Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson said the upcoming match against India will be a tough challenge, but the team is fully prepared to take the field.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Hesson described the high-profile encounter as a new experience for him, having only watched Indo-Pak matches in the past. He acknowledged India’s confidence while stressing that Pakistan understands the scale of the contest.

Hesson noted that the final playing XI has not been decided yet and will be determined after reviewing the pitch conditions. He pointed out that the Dubai surface plays differently from Sharjah, adding that spinners are unlikely to receive the same level of support here.

Highlighting Pakistan’s bowling strength, Hesson said the squad has five quality spinners, including Abrar Ahmed, regarded among the best globally, and Mohammad Nawaz, a proven performer at the international level.
