Pakistan Edge France in Thrilling Shootout to Reach Nations Cup Final

Pakistan’s men’s hockey team advanced to the final of the FIH Hockey Men’s Nations Cup 2024-25 after a thrilling 3-2 shootout win over France, following an intense 3-3 draw in regulation time at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The semi-final clash was packed with drama and high-paced action as both sides traded blows in a fiercely contested match. France struck early, netting two goals in the first quarter to seize control. Pakistan, however, responded just before halftime to reduce the deficit and stay in the contest.
