Pakistan’s national cricket team has arrived in Blantyre, Zimbabwe, for their upcoming white-ball series against the hosts. The squad, including 10 players, traveled via Dubai for the three-match ODI and T20 series, set to begin later this month.
Some members of the team, who had traveled earlier, had already reached Zimbabwe after Pakistan’s recent series against Australia. Key players like captain Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Irfan Khan, and Haseebullah Khan were part of the early arrivals.

Notably, star players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been rested for the series, allowing younger players to step up. This decision is part of the team’s strategy to rotate key players during less high-profile tours.
“We are giving younger talent the chance to prove themselves in this series,” Rizwan stated. “It’s essential for our long-term planning.”
The series will start with three ODIs on November 24, 26, and 28, followed by three T20 matches on December 1, 3, and 5. The squad will have a rest day before their first ODI against Zimbabwe.
