Pakistan vs India

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Wasim Khan, General Manager of Cricket for the International Cricket Council (ICC), believes Pakistan may end up playing their 2023 World Cup matches at a neutral venue rather than India.

India had refused to visit Pakistan for the upcoming Asia Cup in 2023. The Asia Cup was facing boycott threats from Pakistan, forcing India to consider a “hybrid model” for the tournament.

Other teams would play their matches in Pakistan, while the Indian team would play in another country, according to the proposed model.

According to media reports, Pakistan is now considering playing their World Cup matches in a neutral location.

“I don’t know if it would take place here on in a different country but a neutral venue is highly likely,” former CEO of the PCB said in an interview with a local TV channel.

“I don’t think that Pakistan will play their matches in India. I think their matches will also be held at a neutral venue just like India’s Asia Cup matches,” Wasim added.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
