Pakistan Condemns Afghan Taliban, Calls Kabul Group Unconstitutional

Pakistan has voiced serious concerns over repeated border violations by the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij. According to the Foreign Office, the country has responded “befittingly” to recent acts of aggression originating from Afghan territory.

In a statement, officials emphasized that the current group in power in Kabul operates by force rather than under any constitutional framework. “There is no legitimate constitution or governance mechanism guiding their actions,” a Foreign Office spokesperson said. Pakistan maintains that such behavior threatens regional stability and security.

The statement comes amid escalating tensions along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, where multiple incidents have been reported in recent weeks. Pakistani authorities confirmed that measures have been taken to secure border areas and prevent further incursions.

Officials highlighted that the acts of aggression included attacks on border posts and attempts to infiltrate Pakistani territory. “Our response has been measured but firm,” the spokesperson added, stressing Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its citizens.

This development follows ongoing discussions on regional security and cooperation. Pakistan has consistently urged the Afghan Taliban to take concrete steps against terrorist groups operating within Afghanistan. Recently, PM Shehbaz chaired a key meeting on Afghan repatriation, underscoring the importance of stability in the region for safe refugee returns.

Security analysts say Pakistan’s firm stance signals a clear message to Kabul that repeated violations will not be tolerated. They note that a lack of constitutional governance in Afghanistan contributes to lawlessness and cross-border threats.

The Foreign Office reiterated that Pakistan remains open to dialogue but will not compromise on sovereignty and national security. Officials urged the international community to recognize the dangers posed by the current unregulated regime in Kabul and support efforts to curb terrorism and violent actions.

Pakistan’s proactive measures, including increased border surveillance and coordinated security responses, aim to prevent further incidents and protect local communities near the frontier. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, ensuring readiness for any contingencies.

The country remains committed to fostering peace and stability in the region, balancing diplomatic engagement with firm security measures. Officials stress that collaboration with neighboring countries and the international community is key to addressing the challenges posed by the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij.
