Pakistan Clinches Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025 Title

Pakistan emerged as champions of the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025 after defeating Maldives 60-35 in a dominant final performance in Jeonju, South Korea. The national team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, marking a historic moment for Pakistan netball.

Earlier, Pakistan advanced to the final with an impressive 64-39 semifinal win over Japan at the Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium. The team controlled the game from the start, holding strong leads at every quarter and showcasing their consistency and strength across all matches.

Key players including Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Sumayya Kouser, Haleema, Jasmine Farooq, Amani, Parisa, and Farah Rasheed delivered standout performances, contributing heavily in both attack and defense.

The Pakistan Netball Federation’s Chairman Mudassir Arian, President Sameen Malik, and Secretary General Muhammad Riaz congratulated the team for their remarkable achievement and praised their dedication and teamwork.

The tournament featured eleven teams divided into two groups, with top contenders such as Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and India in Group A, while Pakistan competed in Group B alongside Japan, Korea, Maldives, Chinese Taipei, and Saudi Arabia.
