Mohammad Rizwan will continue as captain as Pakistan’s selection committee has announced a 16-player squad for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. The matches are set to take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago on August 8, 10, and 12.
Hasan Nawaz, a right-handed batter, is the only uncapped player in the ODI lineup. Notably, Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi are also part of the squad.
Before the ODIs, Pakistan will play three T20Is against the West Indies on July 31, August 2, and 3 at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, USA. Salman Ali Agha will lead the T20I side, with pacers Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Afridi returning to the squad.
Pakistan is scheduled to arrive in the USA on Sunday, July 27, following the completion of their T20I series in Bangladesh.
