Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Sign Agreement for Hajj 2025, Enhancing Pilgrim Services
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a significant agreement for Hajj 2025, ensuring improved facilities and services for Pakistani pilgrims. The agreement was finalized during the ongoing four-day International Hajj Conference in Jeddah, which aims to foster further agreements to enhance pilgrim services. Chaudhry Salik, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, participated in the conference, and the agreement was signed with the Saudi Minister of Hajj.

Under the agreement, 189,210 Pakistani citizens will have the opportunity to perform Hajj this year, as confirmed by a Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson. The agreement includes several new measures designed to ensure a more comfortable and affordable Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims:
Key Features of the Agreement:
- Dedicated Spaces in Mina: Pilgrims will have access to dedicated spaces in Mina, with special efforts made to offer reduced rates for greater affordability.
- Flexible Hajj Duration: A new 20-25 day Hajj program will allow pilgrims to customize their schedule according to their preferences.
- Stay in Medina: Pilgrims will stay in Medina for 4 to 8 days, with options to choose accommodations that suit their needs and budget.
- Personalized Pilgrim Kits: Each pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag featuring the Pakistani flag, a QR-coded identity tag, and all the necessary information for a smooth journey.
- Mobile Application: A dedicated mobile app will provide live maps, location tracking, and essential updates, ensuring pilgrims have easy access to real-time information throughout their Hajj experience.
This agreement marks a significant step towards enhancing the convenience, comfort, and overall experience for Pakistani pilgrims traveling to perform Hajj.
