Pak-Afghan Taliban Talks Collapse as Pakistan Warns of Full-Scale Military Action

Talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s Taliban government ended without progress, deepening mistrust between both nations. Islamabad accused Kabul of ignoring militant threats.

The Istanbul discussions aimed to address Pakistan’s concerns about cross-border attacks, but Afghan representatives reportedly refused to take concrete security measures.

Pakistani officials claimed the banned TTP operates freely from Afghan territory, planning attacks against Pakistan. Kabul, however, denied harboring any militant organizations.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that Islamabad’s patience has run out, vowing full-scale military action if attacks continue from Afghan soil.
