Fresh leaks have revealed more details about the upcoming OnePlus 15, just weeks before its official launch. The flagship phone is expected to bring significant upgrades in display, performance, and battery life, positioning it as one of the top Android devices of 2025.
According to reports from Chinese social media platform Weibo, the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen will reportedly reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, offering smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility.
Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which OnePlus has already confirmed. This processor is expected to deliver faster speeds and better efficiency compared to previous models.
Battery life also gets a major boost. The new phone is rumored to include a large 7,300mAh battery supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. This will allow users to charge their device quickly while enjoying longer battery endurance.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 15 is said to come with a triple-lens setup featuring 50MP sensors on all three lenses. Although similar in resolution to the OnePlus 13, the new sensors are expected to enhance image clarity and detail.
The device will reportedly carry an IP69 rating, giving it strong protection against water and dust — a notable improvement in durability for the series.
Leaked images show the smartphone in a new “Sand Storm” color with curved edges and a refined design, maintaining OnePlus’s signature premium look.
Compared to last year’s OnePlus 13, the new model offers faster performance, a higher refresh rate, and a bigger battery. The launch is expected to take place in October 2025, with official teasers likely arriving soon.
