OGRA Raises LPG Prices for April 2025

OGRA Increases LPG Prices for April 2025, Domestic Cylinder Now Costs Rs. 2,930

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a slight increase in the price of indigenous liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), raising it by Rs. 0.54 per kg for April 2025. This adjustment has led to an increase of Rs. 6.40 in the price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder.

According to OGRA’s latest notification issued on March 31, 2025, the consumer price of LPG has been set at Rs. 248.37 per kg for April. As a result, the price of an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder for consumers has risen to Rs. 2,930.71, up from Rs. 2,924.31 in February 2025.

Breakdown of LPG Pricing

OGRA outlined the marketing, distribution, and transportation costs in its pricing structure:

  • Marketing margin: Rs. 17,000 per metric ton
  • Distribution margin: Rs. 10,000 per metric ton
  • Transportation costs: Rs. 8,000 per metric ton

Recent LPG Price Changes

Earlier in March, OGRA had reduced the price of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder by Rs. 72.57, providing temporary relief to consumers. However, this latest increase has reversed part of that reduction.
