Officials Announced for ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifier

The match officials for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifier, set to take place in Pakistan from April 9 to 19, have been confirmed. A total of 10 umpires and three match referees will officiate the six-team tournament, where two spots for the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup are at stake.

Among the officials are Pakistan’s own Faisal Khan Afridi and Saleema Imtiaz. Saleema, who made history last year as the first Pakistani woman to join an ICC umpiring panel, shared her hopes that her achievement would encourage more women in Pakistan to pursue careers in cricket and umpiring. The panel also includes officials from countries such as Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and the West Indies.
