[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Following the introduction of the highly requested feature of using a single WhatsApp account on secondary devices in 2021, WhatsApp is now introducing another major feature.
Many people’s wishes have finally been granted: you can now use the same WhatsApp account on up to five phones. Each additional phone is linked to the account in the same way that web browsers, tablets, and desktops are linked to WhatsApp.

Each phone connected to the network operates independently, ensuring end-to-end encryption of messages, media, and calls.
Furthermore, if your primary phone is inactive for an extended period of time (the company has not specified a specific timeframe), you will be automatically logged out of all associated devices as a security measure.
This means you can now switch between phones without having to sign out of WhatsApp. You can sign in to the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones at the same time.
The update has already been distributed to all users worldwide, and it will be completed in the coming weeks.
In addition, WhatsApp will be introducing a “simpler method” for linking to associated devices in the coming weeks. Instead of scanning a QR code, you can enter your phone number on WhatsApp Web and receive a unique code that you can enter on your phone to enable device linking.
This feature is currently only available on WhatsApp Web, but it will be expanded to include “additional companion devices” in the future.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
