[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Nooh Dastgir Butt, Pakistan’s famed weightlifter, has found himself in a puzzling predicament after being denied permission to compete in the upcoming National Games.

The Weightlifting Federation’s decision to revoke Butt’s registration has raised eyebrows and left many wondering why.

Nooh has been forbidden from competing in the National Games due to his alleged membership with another weightlifting federation, according to the information. According to the weightlifting federation, Nooh’s father, Ghulam Dastagir Butt, is a staunch supporter of the other federation.

Nooh, frustrated, furiously refuted the accusations levelled against him. He maintained that he had been wrongfully accused of being a member of an interim committee, which he angrily denied, claiming that it was false.

The ramifications of this unjust judgement go beyond the National Games, since Noah Dastgir Butt has been prevented from competing in international tournaments such as the coveted Olympics and Asian Games. This setback not only jeopardises his own goals, but also deprives the nation of witnessing the possibility of a gold medal in the mega-events.

It is worth noting that Nooh earned a record gold medal in the 109+kg weightlifting class in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
