For older adults, Verma explained that their fitness goals often focus on managing health conditions and engaging in safe, sustainable exercises. “Older adults are more concerned with managing health issues, so their routines typically revolve around exercises that enhance flexibility, balance, and strength,” he added.

He stressed the importance of accessible options that fit seamlessly into daily routines, such as at-home workouts, hybrid models combining virtual and in-person sessions, and community-based wellness events. These can help older adults stay engaged in physical activity. Additionally, creating supportive communities where older adults can connect with peers can provide motivation to stay active.
Verma also highlighted the importance of strength training, stating that it plays a vital role in promoting health, longevity, and overall quality of life for all age groups.
He concluded, “Personalized solutions tailored to the needs of adolescents and older adults can help overcome barriers to physical activity, empowering individuals to lead stronger, healthier lives.”
