Education authorities have released the updated school schedules for Ramadan 2025, outlining new timings for schools across Punjab and Sindh provinces. The revised schedules aim to accommodate students and staff who are observing the fast while ensuring the continuation of educational activities.
In Punjab, regular schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on weekdays, with Friday classes concluding at 12:30 PM. For schools running a double-shift system, the morning session will be held from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays, the afternoon shift is scheduled to operate from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Sindh’s Ramadan school timings introduce different schedules for various education levels. Primary schools running a single shift will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. For double-shift primary schools, morning classes will be held from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and afternoon sessions from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
Secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools in Sindh will follow similar timing patterns, with Friday shifts adjusted accordingly. Morning shifts will conclude at 10:30 AM on Fridays, while afternoon sessions will end at 1:15 PM.
School administrators are required to implement these Ramadan timings immediately at the start of the holy month. The schedules have been designed to support the needs of fasting students while maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment.
