The iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to feature an upgraded 48MP ultrawide camera, while the Pro variant will likely receive a new 5x Tetraprism telephoto module.

These developments align with earlier predictions made by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo earlier in the year, which suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro would incorporate a 5x zoom camera.
