Nearly One Million Undocumented Afghans Repatriated from Pakistan

Pakistan’s repatriation drive for undocumented residents and Afghan Citizen Card holders is continuing swiftly, with the number of returnees nearing the one million mark. On April 21 alone, authorities deported 3,956 individuals, pushing the total number of Afghan nationals who have left the country to 983,442.

The crackdown follows the expiry of Pakistan’s deadline for illegal residents to voluntarily exit the country. Officials have confirmed that stringent legal measures are now in place for those who fail to comply with the directive.
