The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology (NSIC), Sargodha, has announced 72 new job vacancies for medical, technical, administrative and support staff. The recruitment drive covers 34 different job categories and offers contract-based employment.
The institute operates under the Punjab Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. The announced positions include senior medical specialists, consultants, junior consultants, technologists, technicians, officers and administrative staff. Monthly pay packages range from Rs64,895 to Rs700,000, depending on the position and experience.
Senior Consultant positions carry a monthly package of up to Rs700,000, while Consultants can receive Rs490,030 per month. Junior Consultants will be offered Rs394,968. Other positions include Manager Infection Control and Blood Bank Officer with packages of Rs210,003 per month.
NSIC is also hiring Surgical Technologists, Anesthesia Technologists and Medical Imaging Technologists. These positions carry a monthly package of Rs160,901. Cashiers and Assistant Managers for Records can receive Rs83,615 and Rs64,895, respectively.
Technical positions include Surgical Technicians, Anesthesia Technicians and Imaging Technicians. Transport Officer positions are also available. The minimum monthly package for these positions is Rs64,895.
The medical recruitment covers several specialties, including Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Chemical Pathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Histopathology, Pulmonology and Neurology. The advertisement also includes positions for Junior Consultant Dental Surgeon.
Candidates applying for senior medical positions are generally required to hold an MBBS degree along with relevant postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS, MD, MRCP or recognized equivalent qualifications. Relevant post-qualification experience is also required for several senior positions. Some posts may additionally require research publications.
Candidates from across Pakistan can apply for Senior Consultant, Consultant and Junior Consultant positions. For other vacancies, applicants are required to have a Punjab domicile. Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
Candidates holding equivalent qualifications must provide the required equivalence certificate from the relevant authority. Applicants must also meet the specific educational, professional experience and age requirements for their selected positions.
The recruitment will be carried out on a three-year contract basis. General age relaxation will be provided according to the applicable Punjab government policy. The recruitment also includes a 5 percent quota for minorities and a 3 percent quota for persons with disabilities.
