Sections of Punjab’s motorway network were closed today due to severe smog and dense fog, causing notable travel disruptions. The reduced visibility and deteriorating air quality led to closures on several routes: Motorway M5 was shut near Shershah between Multan and Sukkur, and the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway was also closed. Additionally, Motorway M2 was inaccessible from Kolhaur to Kot Momin, while Motorway M3 was closed from Lahore to Darkhana.
