An additional and sessions court has acquitted Natasha Danish, the driver involved in an August accident on Karsaz Road that led to the deaths of a man and his daughter, following the family’s pardon.
The court issued the acquittal order after a reconciliation agreement was submitted by both parties, reports confirmed on Thursday.

On August 19, Natasha’s Land Cruiser collided with three motorcycles and another car, then overturned on Karsaz Road, killing 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter Amna, and injuring three others. Natasha was subsequently arrested and jailed.
A special investigation team was formed to examine the incident. Danish Iqbal, Natasha’s husband, was also named a suspect but later received a seven-day protective bail from the Sindh High Court.
In September, Imran Arif’s children submitted affidavits in court, stating they had pardoned Natasha in the name of Allah and that all matters between them were resolved.
“We have resolved the issue and forgiven the suspect for the sake of Allah, the Most Kind and Merciful,” the affidavits said, adding that the no-objection certificate was provided voluntarily and truthfully.
