Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters on Friday to review the response to a recent terror attack. During his visit, he was briefed on the successful neutralization of terrorists during an assault on Monday.
Naqvi also inspected the site of a foiled attack carried out by the extremist group Fitna al-Khawarij. Officials explained how the assault was swiftly contained, preventing further loss of life.
The minister paid tribute to the three brave constables who attained martyrdom during the attack. He said, “I salute the sacrifice of these heroes, who laid down their lives to thwart the terrorists’ plans.”
He praised the FC personnel for their valor and rapid response. The three suicide attackers were neutralized within just three minutes. Naqvi emphasized, “The sacrifices of these martyrs will not go in vain. Their families will be treated with the same care as our own.”
Highlighting the courage and selflessness of the fallen, Naqvi remarked, “The bravery with which you confronted Indian-sponsored terrorists is highly commendable. You set an immortal example of heroism, repelling the enemy’s attack.”
Earlier in the day, the Interior Minister visited the martyrs’ memorial, offering flowers and reciting prayers in their honor. This gesture reflected the government’s respect for the sacrifices of security personnel protecting the nation.
Naqvi’s visit underscores the importance of recognizing the dedication and bravery of law enforcement personnel. The minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting security forces in their fight against terrorism.
