Authorities from the anti-graft department apprehended Najaf Hameed at the Rawalpindi court, where he was present for a case and was out on bail. The arrest was made following a local case against Najaf Hameed, with the judge denying his interim bail application and ordering his detention.

Najaf Hameed was taken into custody by anti-graft officials and subsequently transferred to Chakwal. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for further legal proceedings.
Last year, Najaf Hameed was dismissed from his position as Tehsildar. He faces charges related to fraud and forgery, as filed by the anti-corruption department in Chakwal.
Najaf Hameed’s arrest comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings concerning the corruption allegations against him. He is the older sibling of former DG-ISI General (r) Faiz Hameed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
