The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a simplified process for biometric verification during vehicle purchase and sale in Sindh through its Pak-ID mobile application. The move aims to make vehicle transactions more convenient for citizens while reducing the need for in-person visits to NADRA offices.
According to the public notice, residents of Sindh can now complete biometric verification from home using the Pak-ID app. Once verification is successfully completed, vehicle transfers can proceed directly at the relevant registration departments, streamlining the overall process.
NADRA advised citizens to download the Pak-ID mobile application to access this service. The authority also provided guidance and additional information through its official website, www.nadra.gov.pk, ensuring users have full support during the verification process.
To assist users facing difficulties, NADRA has made its helpline available. Citizens can contact 1777 from their mobile phones for guidance on using the Pak-ID app and completing biometric verification for vehicle transactions.
The initiative reflects NADRA’s ongoing efforts to digitize services, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and improve accessibility for citizens across the province. Authorities emphasized that this digital solution will save time and resources for vehicle buyers and sellers while maintaining secure verification standards.
