The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a night shift at Mega Center 2 in Rawalpindi to facilitate citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Mega Center is located near the Metro Station in Rehmanabad on Murree Road. During Ramadan, it will operate in three shifts to accommodate residents with different schedules. Officials said the extended hours aim to provide more convenience and reduce long queues.
The morning shift will run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. The evening shift will operate Monday to Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., while on Fridays, it will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The newly introduced night shift will operate seven days a week from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., covering Sehri hours. NADRA officials said this schedule is designed to help citizens who are unable to visit the center during the day due to work or other commitments.
Authorities urged residents to take advantage of the extended hours and access all NADRA services, including CNIC applications, updates, and other registration procedures. They emphasized that services will remain fully operational during all three shifts.
By introducing night operations, NADRA aims to ensure that all citizens can complete their documentation efficiently. The initiative also seeks to reduce overcrowding at the Mega Center during peak daytime hours. Safety measures will be in place to ensure smooth service during late-night hours.
