Nadra Initiates Mobile Registration Drive In Major Cities Of UK (1)

The National Database and Registration Authority, commonly known as NADRA, has announced a mobile registration drive across major cities in the UK. This initiative aims to help overseas Pakistanis easily access vital identification services.

The mobile registration vans will operate on August 2 and 3, 2025. They will be stationed in cities including Burton on Trent (near Birmingham), Middlesbrough (near Bradford), and Belfast (near Manchester). Exact locations will be shared soon.

NADRA’s mobile units will provide important services such as issuing and renewing Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs), and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs). This effort ensures that Pakistanis living abroad can complete these tasks without traveling to permanent centers.

Officials have requested Pakistani citizens in the UK to bring their old CNICs or B-Forms for faster processing. To make the process smoother and more comfortable, there will be separate counters and female staff available for women applicants.

This drive is part of NADRA’s ongoing strategy to improve ID service accessibility for overseas Pakistanis. It is especially helpful for those who find it difficult to visit official registration centers due to distance or other reasons.

Alongside the mobile registration drive, NADRA has upgraded its Pak ID mobile app. The app now allows users to apply online for CNIC renewals, FRCs, and register births, deaths, and marital status. It also supports government job applications through a Single Sign-On (SSO) feature.

The Pak ID app reduces the need for physical visits or paperwork, showing NADRA’s commitment to digital convenience for Pakistani citizens worldwide.

In summary, NADRA’s mobile registration drive and app updates demonstrate the authority’s dedication to serving the Pakistani diaspora effectively. The drive is a valuable step towards easier access to identity services abroad.
