Nadia recounted how she distanced herself from a high-profile project, recommended by Naumaan Ijaz, upon discovering the involvement of her harasser. “I just said no,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to steering clear of toxic environments. She expressed regret for not publicly exposing her abuser earlier, fearing that her silence might have allowed other women to suffer similar fates.
Nadia explained her reasons for remaining quiet, citing concerns for her sons’ safety. “I’m waiting for my sons to grow up,” she said, indicating that her sons are currently too hot-headed to handle the situation calmly. She concluded with a sombre reflection on her trauma, describing the abuser as “a pretty sleazy chap.”
