Nadia Afgan Receives Death Threats Amid Backlash Over Feroze Khan Criticism

Nadia Afgan Reveals Death Threats from Feroze Khan Fans After On-Air Criticism

Veteran Pakistani actress Nadia Afgan has disclosed that she received death threats from fans of fellow actor Feroze Khan after she criticized his behavior and professionalism on a television review show.

Nadia, known for her bold opinions and decades-long acting career, shared on the show that she had called out Feroze Khan’s “intimidating” and “difficult” attitude on set. However, her candid remarks triggered backlash from a segment of Feroze’s supporters, leading to threats on social media.

“Some of the actors were not happy, and I even received a few death threats from a certain actor’s fandom,” Nadia revealed.
“They told me, ‘You’re just doing this for masala’ or said things like, ‘We’ll kill you,’ and ‘You don’t even know how to act.’”

Despite the alarming nature of the threats, Nadia stood her ground and defended her right to speak honestly:

“I may not be perfect, but I do know how to act,” she said firmly.

She also noted that while the threats were disturbing, she received overwhelming support from within the industry, including from fellow actors and writers who appreciated her straightforward approach.

Actress Atiqa Odho, who was also part of the discussion, added a touch of humor to the tense topic:

“I’m happy that you’re finally getting some heat and the focus has shifted from us to you,” she joked.

Nadia went on to highlight the increasing toxicity among some fan bases in the entertainment industry.

“Some actors’ fans are extremely lethal and toxic—they come after you,” she said.
“Some of the threats were really frightening, especially because they came from fresh, anonymous accounts. At least show your face!”

The incident sheds light on the dark side of fandom culture in Pakistan, raising concerns over how criticism of public figures is often met with aggression rather than dialogue. Nadia Afgan’s courage in speaking out adds an important voice to the conversation about professionalism, accountability, and respect in the entertainment world.
