A strange metallic sphere that reportedly flew over the Colombian town of Buga on March 2 before landing has stirred global speculation and reignited debates over possible UFO activity.

The object, now under investigation by experts including researcher Jose Luis Velazquez, displays highly unusual characteristics. Velazquez reported that the sphere possesses three distinct layers with no visible welds or joints—traits that are rarely found in man-made items. These anomalies have led some to consider the possibility of extraterrestrial origins, further fueling public intrigue.

However, not everyone in the scientific community is convinced.

Julia Mossbridge, a physicist at the University of San Diego and executive director of the Institute for Love and Time, shared a more skeptical perspective in an interview with Fox News Digital. She described the object as appearing more like an “art project” than alien technology and urged caution, stressing the importance of rigorous scientific examination before drawing conclusions.

Mossbridge also pointed out that unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) have been acknowledged by government bodies in recent years, highlighting the ongoing efforts of organizations like the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, the UAP Disclosure Fund, and the Galileo Project to study such mysterious cases.

As the investigation continues, the Colombian sphere has quickly become a focal point in the ever-growing global discourse on UFOs and the unknown phenomena in our skies.
