The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) has announced the conclusion of nationwide sit-ins held in protest over the Parachinar killings.
During an emergency press conference, the party’s leader confirmed the decision, citing the signing of a peace agreement in Parachinar with mutual consent from both sides. He emphasized that it is now the government’s responsibility to ensure the agreement’s implementation.

Earlier, a grand jirga in Kohat successfully mediated the peace deal aimed at restoring stability in Kurram. Reports indicate that after three weeks of negotiations, the agreement was formalized under the supervision of the Kohat Commissioner.
Both parties have committed to cooperating with the government and administration to maintain lasting peace in the region.
