YouTuber Mubashir Siddique Reveals Earnings from Camel Roast Video

Renowned Pakistani YouTuber and chef Mubashir Siddique, from the small village of Shah Pur in Punjab, recently revealed the earnings from his latest viral video, surprising many social media users.

In the video, Mubashir Siddique prepared a camel roast that garnered millions of views across platforms. Despite its popularity, he disclosed that the video actually resulted in a financial loss.

He explained that producing the video cost around Rs350,000, while revenue from monetized platforms remained far lower. Mubashir Siddique noted that his TikTok and Instagram accounts are not monetized, so his earnings came only from Facebook and YouTube. Even with 13 million views on Instagram and 8 million views on TikTok, he earned nothing from these platforms.

From Facebook, the video generated $543, and YouTube added $59, totaling $602 (about Rs170,000). Compared to the production cost, the video led to a net loss.
