He criticized the government for not fulfilling its promises, stating, “We backed Shehbaz Sharif as Prime Minister with the assurance that development packages would be provided for Sindh and Hyderabad. However, not a single commitment has been met in the past 1.5 years.”

Haque voiced concerns over the stalled development projects in Karachi and Hyderabad, adding that the government and PML-N have shown an unfavorable attitude toward MQM.

Citing the lack of progress, he emphasized that MQM is now seriously considering withdrawing from the government and joining the opposition.
