The Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the Traffic Police has announced the extension of a special initiative aimed at assisting motorcyclists in obtaining driving licenses across Punjab.
According to the traffic police’s statement, over 900,000 driving licenses were issued to motorcyclists last month. This figure includes more than 400,000 individuals who received regular driving licenses, alongside over 234,000 motorcyclists who were granted learning licenses. Additionally, around 266,000 people renewed their learning or regular licenses during this period.

Faisalabad Traffic Police led the province in providing these services, setting a benchmark for other districts to emulate. The traffic police highlighted that motorcyclists are issued regular licenses after completing the mandatory 42-day learning period, which helps them drive more confidently and safely.
