The police investigation revealed that these businesses were used as fronts for illegal operations such as prostitution and the sale of illegal narcotics.
Following a comprehensive investigation, the police filed FIRs against the proprietors of 23 massage parlours and guest houses in the province capital’s Cantonment, Civil Lines, Saddar, and Model Town regions.

A police official emphasised the gravity of the situation, saying that those who lead the youth astray should face no leniency.
