Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has assured that Pakistan remains committed to resolving all outstanding issues with Afghanistan through peaceful dialogue and diplomacy.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Naqvi said that Pakistan values neighborly relations and believes direct communication is the only path toward regional stability.
He emphasized that dialogue can bridge misunderstandings between Islamabad and Kabul, especially after recent tensions following the failure of bilateral talks in Istanbul.
Naqvi stated that Pakistan’s security concerns must be addressed, but without hostility or conflict, as both nations share cultural and economic ties.
The minister also called on Afghanistan’s Taliban government to cooperate against militant groups responsible for cross-border attacks harming both countries’ security interests.
He reiterated that Pakistan will continue to pursue peace and stability in the region, with diplomacy remaining central to its foreign policy.
