Mohsin Naqvi Expresses Satisfaction With NADRA And Passport Services

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed satisfaction over the quality of services at the NADRA Center in Fahad Town and the Regional Passport Office in Dera Gujran, Shalamar. His remarks came during a surprise visit on Wednesday to review the performance of staff and the quality of public services.

During the inspection, Mohsin Naqvi closely observed the process of issuing identity cards, passports, and other essential documents. He interacted with citizens at both locations and asked about their experiences with service delivery. Most citizens praised the staff, saying they were cooperative, polite, and helpful throughout the process.

The interior minister listened to the concerns of several visitors and issued immediate instructions to resolve their issues on the spot. He directed the staff to speed up document processing and ensure timely delivery without unnecessary delays.

While touring the centers, Mohsin Naqvi gave special attention to the case of an elderly woman in a wheelchair. He ordered the staff to prioritize her application and emphasized that such applicants should not face any difficulty. He further instructed officials to treat all special persons with protocol and provide them with dedicated assistance.

Highlighting the importance of public convenience, the minister said that citizens should not face problems in obtaining identity cards or travel documents. He stressed that every official must show professionalism, empathy, and efficiency in their duties.

Naqvi also directed NADRA and Passport Office staff to ensure that document and passport deliveries are completed strictly within the given timeframe. He appreciated the teams for their positive attitude and urged them to maintain high standards of service.

The interior minister reiterated that surprise inspections would continue to ensure transparency and better governance. He added that the government’s priority is to make citizen services efficient, accessible, and respectful for everyone.
