Modi’s Name Surfaces in Latest Epstein Document Release

Newly released Epstein files continue to generate global attention, revealing fresh details and sparking debate across political circles. The latest set of documents references Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, bringing renewed scrutiny to his past communications and alleged associations.

Among the disclosures is an email reportedly linked to Epstein that mentions Modi’s 2017 state visit to Israel. The message suggests that Modi followed Epstein’s advice during the trip, claiming he performed gestures aimed at pleasing the US president after the two had met weeks earlier. However, these assertions remain unverified and controversial.

The Indian government swiftly dismissed the claims. A spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs rejected the remarks as baseless and described them as “sensational commentary” from a convicted criminal. Officials stressed there is no evidence indicating any relationship, advisory role, or interaction between Modi and Epstein. Despite this denial, opposition leaders have called for clarification and demanded transparency regarding the allegations.

Beyond political references, the documents also shed light on Epstein’s extensive business dealings. Records show that in October 2015, his firm, Southern Trust Company Inc., signed a $25 million agreement with the Rothschild Group to provide risk assessment and algorithm-based services. The company, registered in the Virgin Islands and headed by Epstein, reportedly collaborated on financial and analytical projects.

Separately, declassified emails reveal a 2013 effort involving former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Correspondence suggested that Khan’s social and political influence could be used to support Western-backed health initiatives in Pakistan.

These revelations highlight Epstein’s far-reaching network among powerful figures worldwide, underscoring how politics, diplomacy, and elite circles often intersected with his activities. Epstein later died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, but investigations into his connections continue to surface new details
